Loving the new album, cant wait to buy the new songbook, but before i do can anyone tell me if the new songbook is tablature version?
I will be buying it either way and can i urge everyone else to buy it, that way, if its a success they may consider bringing out a songbook for older material.

Fingers crossed

Hi, I brought the songbook and most of it is lyrics with the chords above them, in many cases as Mike wrote them, it also has the full song lyrics and lots of other little goodies. Without question I think its great and as you say hopefully they will bring out some older stuff as well.

Enjoy Dave

Life is not a rehearsal so get on with it.

Not happy. I went to buy songbook and found that its sent, by email in pdf format, thus cutting down cost on production to almost zero. I've no problem with this. BUT 14 QUID, come on. And not even a tab version. I'm not a tight arse, but after shelling out £50 for counter attack collective and another £10 for album (which is also download) i think its time mpo passed some savings on to the fans. The downloaded stuff I dont mind, i think its a great idea. but the price has to reflect the mercandise, which, in the case of the book, i think certainly does not. Therefore i will not be buying it. Am I alone here?

I'd contribute if it was $5.00. I would like the lyrics for the new album that were not included in the CD/DVD

i totally agree mate.14 pounds is a bit steep.i too bought counter collective albums - £50, guerilla tactics - £10 and am going to 2 out of 3 of the saturday gigs in manchester - £30. I too wont be buying it. i would like it for lyrics only (i dont play guitar) but i'm not willing to pay £14 for it.

Might have been worth it if the pdf was put on a memory stick with the alarm logo on it.

Slightly off topic, but The Fixx does this really cool thing called "Fixx Stix" which is a memory stick of their live gigs for their fans. I really like the idea of that.
