Does anyone know the chords or TAB for 'Absolute Reality'?

I've been on all the TAB websites and it's not there.

Cheers,

Hoggy.

I've asked this on the old site forum, to no avail.

If only Mr Peters himself would chart out the chords for us!

this is the way i play it
Mr Pink
Absolute reality

D - E - A
Play it like this:
For the D
Second finger on D (third fret B-string)
First Finger on the A (second fret G-string)
Third finger on the F# (fourth fret D-string)

Slide that form up two frets and you've got the E

Then for the A
First finger on the E (fifth fret B-String
Second finger on the C# (6th fret G-String)
Third finger on the A (7th fret D-String)

Then you sort of do A/Asus4 on A chord, down to the E and do a similar thing
with your pinking on the C# on the G-string and down to the D.

You may affect the (A)truth
You may be seen as (E/G#)false
You may be a (D/F#)king or a vaga(A)bond
(D - E)You may be (A)up, you may be (E/G#)down
You may sit in (D/F#)judgement with the rest of the (A)clowns
You may have (F#m)love
You may have (D)hate
You may be the (A)President Of The United (Bm)States
But even (D)you, you can't sit and (E)hide
While the world's resources (G)die

(E)This is (D)ab(E)so(A)lute reali(E/G#)ty reali(F#m)ty reali(D)ty
We are all the (A)cause,
The solution (E)to reali(F#m)ty

Bridge
The ab(D)solute time, the ab(A)solute place
The ab(Bm)solute now for the ab(A)solute solution
(D)It's ab(D)solute re(A)ality (Bm)now
Now Now (D))Now (E -E) to chorus

The Outro uses a variation on the intro.

Cheers Mr Pink, this is awesome!

I'm just trying it now on my strings. It's great isn't it when a familiar sound comes from your own playing!

You should post that on Ultimate-Guitar.com.

Thanks again mate,

Hoggy.

Our old thread of tabs and chords got eaten by the webwiz monster.

So if anyone wants to start another one, this would be a good place Wink

How about Pastures of plenty?

Pastures of plenty
Woody Guthrie
It's a [D]mighty hard row that my poor hands have [Bm]hoed
My [D]poor feet have traveled a hot dusty road,
Out of the dust bowl and westward we rolled,
And your deserts are hot and your mountains they're [Bm]cold

I worked in your orchards of peaches and prunes,
And I slept on the ground 'neath the light of the moon;
I picked in your cotton, cut grapes from your vine,
And I set on your table your light sparkling wine.

We travel with the wind and the rain in our face,
Our families migrating from place unto place;
We'll work in your beet fields 'til sundown tonight,
Travel 300 miles 'fore the mornin' gets light

Arizona, California, we'll make all your crops,
It's northward to Oregon to gather your hops;
Strawberries, cherries, and apples the best,
In that sunshiny land call'd the Pacific Northwest.

It takes home loving mothers and strong hearted men;
Every state in this union us migrants has been;
'Long the edge of your cities you'll see us, and then,
We've come with the dust and we're gone in the wind.

I picked up a rich clod of dirt in my hand,
I crumble it back into strong fertile land;
The greatest desire in this world that I know
Is to work on my land where there's green things to grow.

I think of the dust and the days that are gone,
And the day that's to come on a farm of our own;
One turn of the wheel and the waters will flow
'Cross the green growing field, down the hot thirsty row.

Look down in the canyon and there you will see
The Grand Coulee showers her blessings on me;
The light for the city for factory and mill,
Green pastures of plenty from dry, barren hills.

It's always we've rambled, that river and I,
It's here on her banks and I'll work till I die,
My land I'll defend with my life if need be;
'Cause my pastures of plenty must always be free!

I've wandered all over your green growing land,
Where ever your crops are I've lent you my hand,
On the edge of your cities you'll see me and then,
I come with the dust and I've gone with the wind.

Green pastures of plenty from dry desert ground
From the Grand Coulee dam where the waters run down,
Every state of this union us migrants have been,
We come with the dust and we're gone with the wind.

So, anyone interested in joining me to create an alarm guitar chord list?
Should we start alphabetically?
