Kerstin and I have booked up our trip to New York. Tim was a big help pointing us to a good hotel guide. We are going to be there from Sunday 15th June until Saturday 28th June 2008. Now, we are not big touristy types but I'm sure we will go to a few places (Empire State is just across the road from our hotel). We thought it would be nice to see if any Alarm fans who live in New York might want to come and hang out with us. If you know any good bands playing in New York during that time it would be nice if you could let us know and maybe you might wanna come to show with us. I put this out there and we'll see what happens. Thanks.

Congrats !! Try Maxwells in Hoboken. Easy to get to from NYC and an interesting area. Maxwells does lovely food and has bands on. Have seen Mike there and other bands also.

Thanks a lot. I like the name Hoboken for some odd reason. Must be worth a visit.

Lily, thanks. It was nice hanging out with you and Tim on Saturday after the Loki the Grump set. Sorry that we never got to go out later in the week. We did text you but was never sure if our stupid phones were working!
We had a really nice time in NYC and it was great hanging out at so many cool places. Food was great and hotel was fantastic (a real bargin for anyone who wants to go to NY). Food was lovely and we met some really nice folks along the way.
Photos are going up on The Hack. I posted a few Loki the Grump pics and will do some more later.
Kat, went to T & V and bought myself a shocking Johnny Thunders T-Shirt and surprised Kerstin by buying her a really great pair of Doc Marten's. They were so nice to us that they even gave me a free t-shirt!

Sounds like a really good trip Dougie. and what a great idea to hook up with Alarm fans. I very briefly met Lily at Rockers and the dedication that the New York crew show towards all things Alarm is truely fantastic. I will do new York one day and will seek you out for advice and tips.
