Notice that the cardiff date clashes with the first point gig. Shame that as I was hoping to go to all three dates but seeing as rancid have never come to Wales I'll be giving the first point show a miss

Fair play to the Rancid boys for giving support slots the the ANTI NOWHERE LEAGUE, GBH AND THE UK SUBS. Old school punkers who Rancid are big fans of and still put on great shows all over the world.
I caught Rancid on sunday at a sold-out Glasgow Barrowlands and they were really great...way better than their last UK tour in 2006 (which was still pretty great) - Tim Armstrong and Lars Frederiksen are two of the best singers/frontmen out there! Although it was a bit of a drag that not much was played in the way of any new songs, the energy from the band spread throughout the crowd and setlist was superb (the 11th hour, who would've thought and I wanna Riot....yay!!). Definitely worth checking out, the best and most melodic and passionate punk band out there easy! (probably the best time I've seen Rancid at the Barras since their first gig there back in June 1996,which was half empty for what it's worth, how times change!) Rough setlist was like this:
Radio Roots Radicals Journey to the end Rejected the 11th Hour Theother side Maxwell Murder Fall back down Knowledge (operation ivy sobg) The way i feel Lock step and gone Olympia the wars end Gunshot Who would've thought.... Missing M.I.A It's quite alright Something in the world today salvation I wanna riot Old friend black and blue Hoover street Bloodclot Tenderloin St Mary Ruby Soho Timebomb
and a couple of others I can't recall.
