Many of you may have heard of Brian Travis. Brian is a long time Alarm fan, and has support Mike in the past. His latest CD has recently come out and I would highly recommend you get it. It can be bought from itunes, Amazon and various other places. Below is my review of it.

From the opening crash of sound of Take Away to the sweet lulling lyrics and soothing chords of Beautiful Life, Brian Travis Band's latest CD takes you on a wonderful journey. With thought provoking and emotional words and tunes Brian's story telling style draws you in and resonates with thoughts, fears, feeling and experiences many of us have had in our own lives.

This record as with Brian's previous work comes from a place of truth, speaking to the basic human condition and communicates from the deepest part of himself to the deepest of the listener.

In style the Bigger Picture takes the bands influences and blends them into something unique and interesting, nodding to other story telling artist while not copying or simply reproducing them. Highlights for me are Exit, State I'm In and Forts. This is a record that bears repeated listening, with new and fresh insight on each play.

Do yourself a favor and purchase this sooner rather than later, and take the journey alongside a truly talented and gifted band of musicians.
