Hi all , I've just listened to Green Day's new album tonight and you need to go and get a copy!.Not only is the album going to be a great hit, and that's just after one listen , I also want to mention what my mate said about it after he listened to it too.
'I wonder if Mike Peters is going to get any Royalties from it!' was his statement !!!!

I have to agree with him on certain tracks like 'Horeshoes and Handgrenades' and 'Viva la Gloria' ....thats just for starters!!!!!!

It's an amazing Album and I have a sneaky feeling it might just outdo American Idiot which is a bit of a statement but I'm going to stick my neck out and say so anyway.

It's just great to see Mike and The Gang can influence Superstars too.

American Idiot's - 'Jesus Of Suburbia' was maybe just the start of the influence................Long Live Rock n' Roll!

'PeaceMaker' has got to be influenced by 'Up For Murder!'

I think '21 Guns' will be a single somewhere down the line.

All the best to you mistivon and andi.

'a quick one'...a cover of the who mini-opera, is brilliant..
they really nailed that classic who gibson SG sound {the SG was used in the definitive version of the song by the who at the rolling stones rock n' roll circus}...very faithful to the original, not punked up or the arrangment messed about with...proper good it is..

I agree that it's a really good album and could even outdo 'american idiot' which was an amazing album.Just wish that I had got tickets for the show at the s.e.c.c. but it sold out in a few hours.

"Influenced" is an understatement. It couldn't get any more blatant than that. Unbelievable.
