Can I just apologise for any offence caused by my stage invading antics at Manchester on Saturday.
Drinking from mid-day definitely didn't help, but is no excuse.

At 41 I really should know better...

All very civilised! As Mike finished a song, a guy appeared on stage and said something into Mike's ear. He then walked off and Mike made a dedication for the next song. I actually thought it was a staff member from the Academy being a bit cheeky.
JB - if you had been drinking since midday, you did very well!!

Oh, I'm sure that was a sight. JB, if you were drinking since midday and still managed to be civilized, then you've got nothing to apologize for. And Mike played your song. Perfect!

I just asked Mike to dedicate the next song to my mum (and told him her name), as she is being treated for breast cancer at the moment.

As I left the stage I heard "This one's for Nora Buchanan..."

Made me (and my mum when I told her about it) smile, after what has been a really hard year.
