The Alarm @ Strummercamp. All i can say is that ive been to every strummercamp since it started and ive loved every single one of em,but this years line up far exels any of the previous events, its not so often these days that we get nights that live long in the heart but im sure this will be one of them, ive sat outside tents talking to others about who they would like to see play at the festival and the alarm are one of the bands the folks there desperatly want to see. if you read these forums mike please be advised to take a "hard hat" to this one because i can gaurentee when the alarm hit the stage at strummercamp the roof is gonna come off. with billy bragg and the damned also on the bill i just hope & pray that enough time is left between sets to get the beers in. any chance us members here could arange some sort of meet up it would be nice to put faces to usernames. you can get tickets from www.strummercamp.co.uklove Poppy.
All the rest is propaganda...

Strummer Camp is very family friendly - there's always lots of children of all ages running around and everyone seems to take care of them and each other. It does get a bit mental near the stages later in the evening and when the beer has been flowing, so I'd be careful with a little one there, but would certainly not worry about camping - as long as the weather is nice! Final line-up as follows:

Absolutely fantastic - one of the best weekend in a long time - voice is absolutely shot to pieces from laughing and singing too much. Both of them are on tour with SLF & Spear. Steve is back at the next gig at Leamington and Craig is back from Leeds I believe. By the way for those going definitely get there in time to check out Henry Cluney. His set is amazing! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "I've Fought for what I Believe in on the Punk Rock Barricades"
