To fund the aquisition of a new bass guitar I am offering for sale my guitar, which was originally owned by by Dave Sharp.
I have put together a Word documnet detailing all of it's interesting history and including some photo's. Here is how Dave described it in the Letter of Authenticity he wrote to go with it:

"To whom it may concern.
Please take this as a letter of authentication in relation to the Fender Semi-Solid Acoustic/Electric guitar.
This guitar was presented to Dave Sharp of The Alarm by Fender USA in the Mid Eighties whilst Dave was working on the design concept for the Fender Santa Rosa production guitar.
This guitar is a prototype (one of 3/4) for the Santa Rosa and was referred to as a Stratacoustic.
Dave has used it since that time as one of his prime “writing” guitars.
