Just wanted to congratulate Dave on another great performance.
Not sure why he appears to get such a negative reaction from the Gathering crowd. I tried to rally my part of the audience, to no avail. Hats off to Mr Sharp - a true guitar hero.

Definitely a great set from Dave who is looking and sounding better than ever and good to see such a nice response from the audience. Had a good crowd around us up at the front Retro, hope you join us up there next time.

Dave Sharp was on great form. Still have pics and video to upload of his performance. I've always enjoyed him when he's played. Maybe folks are not keen on his particular style and that's why they don't get too excited. Of course when he came on to play with The Alarm he got a warm reception.

I have to confess that I am normally one of the "unexcited" fans, however I thought Dave's performance on Saturday was probably the best I've seen from him at the Gathering, and I really enjoyed myself!

I enjoyed Sharpy's performance very much. I did hear some people saying they weren't all that worried about arriving late for Dave, but they missed a strong set from someone who just makes magic with a guitar. Plus, anyone who can get "New York" and "Texas" into the same song is all right by me.
