Newbie: Talked To Mike After A Show
Posted Hide Post
Nicole and I made it home safe. Hope everyone else did, too.

It was just an awesome weekend, and I need a few days to get it all down on paper. It's really going to be hard to top it for future Decaturville's.

Regards,

Jim

Absolutely brilliant weekend. I'm actually more than speechless for once. It was like watching the Dave of old, circa Alarm days.
So much energy and a fantastic vibe. Great to see Dave with a full band. It absolutely brings the songs to a powerful level. All the bands were great and what a great group of friends to share it all with. Pics and Vids to follow. Countdown to New York! Wink

From Dave:

Hi Folks

The 2007 Mash was amazing!!! I'd like to thank everyone who attended and
traveled from far and wide to be there and all who volunteered over the weekend
to help out with gear and such-like.
It was great to see all the singers
songwriters and bands who all delivered amazing spirit and music throughout the
weekend.

I'd like to make a very special mention in dispatches with a message of
gratitude to Intrak Sound - John Foyle, Ian and Steve without who's monumental
effort the Saturday show simply would not have happened - Thank you guys from
myself and all here at Dave Sharp.Org!!!

It was wonderful to be up there with a new line-up of musicians this year and
I'd like to thank all the chaps from Ernies Rhythm Section for efforts way
beyond the call of duty in preparing for the show...it was a grueling week of
rehearsals leading up to the event and the show itself was a truly wonderful
experience for myself and the audience alike.

All I can say in closing is that I feel blessed to have the support of such a
great and wonderful audience-you are all truly amazing, your support leaves me
speechless and forever grateful, you make the music happen!!

Next stop for the Hard Traveling Express is Strummercamp at end of May so here's
to Joe and another great weekend!!!

God-Bless you all

Dave Sharp
