Will do Lily! Not looking like we'll get good weather, but we've got a big tent and cheap beer, so it should be a good weekend! Smiler

Just got back from Strummer camp. Sharp went down well and hopefully there's a photo attached. I'll have to leave the set list to Robbo, Caroline or John as I'm not familiar with Dave's songs I'm afraid.

I only live up the road so the thought of actually camping didn't cross my mind! It looks like it will be fun though - there's a great friendly atmosphere and quite a few tents in the campsite - including a lovely one painted with an Alarm poppy! Anyone know who's it is?
I'll be back there Smiler tomorrow!

The tent belonged to Johnny Lampit, don't think he posts on here.

Could only make it there for the Sunday, Goldblade were brilliant as usual and Neville Staples went down well, can't say I enjoyed him much though. The Ramones and Clash cover bands sounded pretty realistic to, wasn't convinced by The Paddingtons.

The guy with the 6ft wide hair was great and his banjo-cum guitar and Dave certainly enjoyed him during his second stint in the small tent.
Can't remember his name but it was interesting watching him trying to get through the crowd!

My mum almost wet herself when she saw Daniel! Parents can be sooo embarrassing! My brother would like to thank everyone who attended and/or was involved with Strummercamp. The weekend was a great success and plans for Strummercamp 07 are already under way.

And Nicole and I will be coming for this too. It's quite an event, and if you can make it, you won't be disappointed.
