Does anyone watch this rather well done Sci-fi program that's filmed in Cardiff? It's just starting here on BBC America. Has it been around a while in the UK? I've seen two episodes and really enjoy it.

I do Michelle - hate to say it I think it's better than Doctor Who.

They are currently filming series two at the moment so cannot wait for that.

Torchwood is a very compelling show. I'm a big fan of Sci-fi and think this is one of GBs best offerings.

Season 1 is complete in the UK? Then we're just picking up on it here. No spoilers now!!! *LOL*

Cheers Kat

Season 1 finished quite a long time ago here in the UK - not sure if they have finished series 2 or not.

Definately will not put any spoilers on the site but just enjoy. Big Grin

Torchwood is one of the best things on TV in ages.

One of the advantages of working in Cardiff is a) spotting all the locations in Torchwood (and Dr Who) and b) coming across the filming now and again. They started filming series 2 in late spring. It may well all be in the can by now.

For series one, they spent a day filming in my office local. It featured for all of a minute on the scene in episode one when Gwen went to break up a pub brawl.

And I know where John Barrowman lives....

Ahhh how exciting..... I think John is excellent in that series - and I just think it is so much better than Doctor Who. Cannot wait for the next series.

Here in the US we've just viewed Season 1, Episode 4, "Small World". It was a fantastic episode, especially what happens to Jasmine "The Chosen One". Very unexpected!!

I'm envious you stumble on filming now and then Cymraes! That has to be a highlight in your day. I would be excited to know where John Barrowman lives too. Very disappointed to discover he was a new entry at number 17 on the "Pink" List however. Frowner All the very good looking ones....

This weekend "Citycide" is airing for the first time. I'm DVD recording all the episodes. I've heard they'll be on sale in January, but I can't wait that long! Great stuff!

Well, the new series of Torchwood started last night and lived up to expectations. Full of style, panache and some wicked one-liners. Looking forward to the rest of it.

The puzzle is trying to work out what will be left when they show the edited children's version next week. All that innuendo and snogging (plus a smidgeon of gore) - will it make any sense without it all?
