"Watching Mike Peters on stage and knowing his recent history was an inspiration to everyone on the tour. To have been to Hell and back twice, and then to put on a stella performance with the energy of a sixteen year old, was truly great to see. Then when Mike asked Jamie and myself to help shout the message from high, well, we felt honored. A great mix of personal challenges and help raise money and awareness for LHS. It puts my life into perspective and helps cut a lot of deadwood! If anyone feels so inclined then don't hesitate to send whatever you can afford to the link attached. Also anyone can join the 'army' so jump in. Now where is the oxygen bottle!?" http://lovehopestrength.com/everest/archives/category/cy-curnin/

Those Fixx guys always amaze me! Very down to earth and sincere! The Fixx and The Alarm, it could not get any better than that! Wished I was going to Everest too!
Yeah, it's great that Cy & Jamie from The Fixx are joining the cause and coming on the trek. I can't believe that I'm actually involved in such a great event, which will be a once in a lifetime experience - supporting a great cause (my wife and I have raised over US$50k to date), trekking to the top of the world - and doing it with such an interesting group of people, including the inspirational Mr Peters!
